Somatic Dialogue® for Creatives and Proffesionals
Level 2: The Touch
This Level 2 training is designed for professionals in the field of touch and movement. Building on the foundations of Somatic Dialogue, it deepens the understanding and experience of touch-both physical and metaphorical-offering participants fresh insights and initiation into a more nuanced relationship with contact and presence.
About the Training
In Somatic Dialogue, touch is central-not only as a physical interaction, but as a gateway to internal awareness and interpersonal connection. This training explores how we touch and are touched, aiming to free participants from unconscious influences and to foster a more conscious and poetic relationship with the act of touching.
Touch, as one of our earliest sensory experiences, plays a continual role in shaping how we perceive ourselves and others. This training supports participants in recognizing and refining this sensory language to access richer layers of communication and embodied intelligence.
While this is not a therapeutic course, the safe, supportive environment and deep somatic inquiry often create space for healing and personal transformation.
What Participants Will Experience
-
Exploration of various qualities of physical touch: from light listening contact to confident support
-
Practices in touch as a medium for movement facilitation and building trust
-
Investigation of metaphorical and poetic touch: the emotional and communicative layers of contact
-
Somatic exercises that develop empathetic resonance, emotional intelligence, and awareness of boundaries as relational and responsive, not rigid or distancing
