Summer Dance Practice "Open Classes"

Dear Dancers, Actors and Movers, Starting from June until August I would like to open the studio for common dance practice sessions. These sessions are created for dancers, actors and movers of intermediate and advanced levels. In these practice open classes I will propose one structure for the whole time, so that through repetition with variations we can find time for ourselves to connect with the body and to awaken the appetite for movement and dance. I personally feel that I need to have more practice at this period of my life, and I felt like opening this and sharing this work with others, because practising together is more fun! The classes will be structured as follows: 30 min. guided improvisation for landing, connecting and preparing 45 min. precise technique workout exercises to work on flow, dynamics and strength 15 min. or more guided stretching exercises. The classes will be min 1,5h max 2h long. You can leave when you want, however we all start at the same time. The class will always be in the same structure. The improvisation and stretching part can vary, however the middle part will be set, so you don’t have to worry about memorizing the exercises. And I will explain the exercises every time, and we will do them together. These exercises are also very good to take home and implement into your personal practice. They are based on Somatic Dialogue principles, however come also from my past contemporary dance teaching experiences of many years (so they are tested and really work). Let’s meet in Limpid and enjoy nourishing our bodies. Berrak Dates are as follows: 15 meetings in all, save the dates: Time: 9:00-10:30 (or 11:00) June 4/8/11/15/18/22 July 9/13/16/20/23/27/30 August 3/6 There will be a small participation fee scale from 150-300 Kč ( you may contribute to the box at your discretion)
